A recording made around 7:30pm at night in mid october of 2012 of leaves skittering across an asphalt street, making that unique, crackly sound. You will also hear a train off in the distance which i think adds to the sound-scape of fall. At 1:51 into the recording a car whooshes buy and with it, a cluster of leaves trailing behind it trying in vain to keep up. . . That's always been a wonderful sound sequence for me to hear. The recorder (edirol r-09rh) was set in a very high building, therefore the sound consists mainly of ambient noise, eventually with subtle concrete sounds (birds, childs, dogs, sirens,. . . ). In-cabin recording of a qatar airways boeing 787 dreamliner taking off, followed by in-flight announcements in arabic and english. The aircraft applies thrust for take-off at 0:28 and leaves the ground at 1:16. At 3:08 the english in-flight announcement is broadcast. This was recorded in-person from my seat with a tascam dr-40.
